Reference Number 0000262114 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/22 12:00:00 AM CST SaskPower requires Prequalified Supplier(s) for various transmission (72kV, 138kV, & 230kV) station construction, maintenance, and salvage projects throughout the province of Saskatchewan. Details of types of Work including station voltages and apparatus types are described in section 2 Prequalified Supplier Vendor Pools below. All Work to be performed in accordance with applicable standards and in accordance with Appendix A Requirements and Specifications, Part D - Stations Construction / Maintenance Specifications. The Stations Construction / Maintenance Specifications may be amended at any time without notice. The most current version will be attached to the applicable procurement. For the purposes of this RFSQ, the Work is categorized into Vendor Pool 3. Vendor Pool 3: Station Testing and Commissioning Work - includes station protection and control work at new greenfield sites and existing brownfield stations. The scope of Work under Vendor Pool 3 includes station testing and commissioning, salvage, and emergency maintenance Work, as described in subsection 2.1 below. The Work may have a Transmission and/or Distribution apparatus or circuits component associated with the Work, as specified in the competitive procurement, and therefore will require Standard Protection Code Permits (Transmission and/or Distribution), including isolation permits and limited access. The Work covers construction projects at multiple stations through the province and includes breaker replacements, high-voltage transformer replacements, apparatus installation, bus erection, battery replacements, distribution feeder upgrades, ducting, cable trench, manholes, grounding, relay bench testing, panel fabrication, panel wiring, field wiring, relay replacements, yard testing, and controls commissioning, and salvage and demolition. Minor work could include civil site works, foundations, fencing, steel fabrication and erection. This work will be completed at both brownfield and greenfield SaskPower sites that need asset upgrades or replacements, or new station construction. Issuance of a detailed scope of work will be included with all competitive procurements.
