Upgrades and repairs and increase in the electrical capacity of the Suroît Hospital. The scope of the project includes replacement of generators in Blocks A and B and relating work including redoing the main electrical entrance in a room adjacent to the existing one, replacement of transformation equipment with capacity of 2,000 kVA by a 3,000 A cabinet with a capacity of 5,000 kVA or 6,000 kVA in order to respond to future expansion projects and possible modernization of the boiler room. The project also includes installation of a new emergency generator group with increased redundancy and capacity in the backyard to replace the current generators on wings A and B. TIMELINE: The project was put temporary on hold pending funding and the owner's decision to proceed at the working drawings stage. Tender and construction timelines are being finalized. Further update is summer/fall 2026.
