Site work for a water / sewer project in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

SUMMARY OF WORK: This is the City of San Diego's (City) solicitation process to acquire Construction services for Tierrasanta Improv 2. This project consists of the replacement of approximately 122 LF of existing 8-inch PVC sewer main and the trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 7,608 LF (1.44 Miles) of existing 8-inch sewer mains, including the associated sewer laterals (Approximately 188) from the sewer main to the property line. Furthermore, this project will rehabilitate approximately 29 manholes, perform 14 point repairs, replace 2 existing manholes, install 6 cleanouts, 1 manhole, and several sewer lateral cleanouts as necessary to complete the lateral lining work. Lastly, this project will be replacing 1 commercial concrete driveway, install 2 Continental crosswalks, remove and replace 9 type E traffic signal loops, 5 modified type E loops and 1 type Q loop, install 2 type D curb ramps, and relocate 2 pedestrian push buttons. Estimated Construction Cost: the City's Estimated Construction Cost for This Project is $1,750,000. The Contract Time for completion of the Work shall be 148 Working Days. Type of Award: Lump Sum License Requirements: A or (C34 and C42) Bid Bond: 10.00% Payment Bond: 100.00% Performance Bond: 100.00% CONTRACT TIME: The Contract Time for completion of the Work shall be 148 Working Days. All certificates of insurance and endorsements required by the contract are to be provided upon issuance of the City's Notice of Intent to Award letter.
