Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Piermont, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a clubhouse / community center; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of February 21, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The bid will not be awarded until the March 12, 2024, Board of Trustees meeting at 7:00pm.** This Project will consist of installing plantings, installing a new pipe rail, and installing new benches, installing new deck platforms, installing pavement. Plans with the location of the walls, platforms, pavement, plantings, stairs, and sidewalk with details accompany this specification. The Village of Piermont, which will be here in known as the owner has a committee, the building inspector, and an engineer to ensure that the work is competed in a timely and professional manner, according to good industry and standard practice, A.I.A. Requirements, AASHTO Requirements, and manufacturer s specification. Contract A- This Project will consist of repairing the masonry retaining wall, removing the railroad tie retaining wall and installing a new railroad tie retaining wall, installing drainage, and an ADA concrete sidewalk at the Piermont Community Center at 204 Hudson Terrace Contract B - Removal of deck platforms, removal and re-installation of asphalt pavement, removing and re-setting stones in existing retaining walls, re-setting and rebuilding of park stairs, install plantings, install a new pipe rail, and install new benches. Half Moon: The proposed project includes repair and refurbishment of the Half Moon Park walkway, installation of a new viewing platform, landscaping. Removal of deck platforms, removal and re-installation of asphalt pavement, removing and re-setting stones in existing retaining walls, re-setting and rebuilding of park stairs, install plantings, install a new pipe rail, and install new benches. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Village of Piermont, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner.
