Half Moon: The proposed project includes repair and refurbishment of the Half Moon Park walkway, installation of a new viewing platform, landscaping. Removal of deck platforms, removal and re-installation of asphalt pavement, removing and re-setting stones in existing retaining walls, re-setting and rebuilding of park stairs, install plantings, install a new pipe rail, and install new benches. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Village of Piermont, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
