Discover Compass is soliciting applicants interested in providing ROOFING CONTRACTOR services for their Carbondale Community School Roof Replacement Project. Protection: Install protection necessary to prevent damage to the building and site. 2. Demolition: Remove the existing roof system at the locations identified on the drawings. a. Remove (peal) and discard the existing roof membrane and roof related accessories, as indicated on the plans. b. Remove and recycle the existing roof related sheet metal and accessories as is practical. 3. Replacement: Install a new Fully Adhered EPDM roofing system per the drawings and specifications. a. Install new polyiso insulation and polyiso tapered insulation. b. Install new roof gypsum board, set in low-rise adhesive. c. Fully adhere new 60mil EPDM membrane. Strip in all seams. d. Install new roof gypsum board or plywood to all walls and curbs, mechanically attached. e. Install new fully adhered EPDM flashings. 4. Replacement: Install all new sheet metal and accessories as indicated. a. Install new pre-finished sheet metal counter flashing, etc. b. Install new galvanized sheet metal at locations that require soldered joints. Paint to match the pre-finished sheet metal. 5. Replacement: Install new standing seam metal roof and accessories as indicated. a. Install new ice and water barrier. b. Install new pre-finished sheet metal counter flashing, etc. c. Install new galvanized sheet metal at locations that require soldered joints. Paint to match the pre-finished sheet metal. 6. Install new roof related accessories throughout. 7. Install new ladders. 8. Install new metal wall panels, as indicated.
