Contractors for Fire Suppression Systems Inspections and Testing for the City of Panama City Beach Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Sprinklers, and Fire/smoke Detectors. These Services Shall Be Provided to All City Buildings and Shall Provide the City With Compliance With Then-current Nfpa Life Safety Codes. Interested Parties Are Asked to Carefully Consider the City's Expectations of Experience and Qualifications as Outlined in the Scope of Work. The City of Panama City Beach is interested in procuring inspection, testing and maintenance services for its fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems across all if its facilities as listed on Exhibit "B". Services shall meet all requirements of NFPA Codes and Florida Administrative Code including but not limited to Rule 69A-21.237 and Rule 69A-46.041. Services shall be listed in unit price based upon the equipment and service provided. The Bids shall include all labor, management, supervision, and materials. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, variances, state licenses, and certifications of personnel in conjunction with these periodic services. The City of Panama City Beach is a government municipality with over 400 employees across multiple departments. The City's facilities include the Panama City Beach Police Department, Panama City Beach Fire Station #30, Station #31, Station #32, Utilities Department, Public Works Department, Public Services Building, City Hall, Lyndell Center, Library, Conservation Park, Frank Brown Park, and the Aquatic Center. Across these facilities, the City has eight (8) active fire alarm systems, twelve (12) fire suppression systems, and approximately 355 fire extinguishers. The initial contract period will be for a 2-year term with the ability to increase or decrease services as needed. The agreement may be renewed by mutual agreement of the parties for three (3) additional one-year terms upon satisfactory performance by the Contractor. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids (in whole or in part) with or without cause and to waive technicalities, irregularities, or informalities. BIDDERS must submit all questions, if any, in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the BID date. If necessary, questions will be answered as ADDENDA and will be issued to the Contract Documents and posted on the City's website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to determine if any addenda have been issued. The due date for questions will be 4:00PM CDT on January 29, 2024.
