The Cocalico School District Board of Directors is soliciting bids for: Cafeteria Serving Lines & Equipment for Reamstown Elementary School The Cocalico School District (District) solicits sealed BIDS for Serving Lines & Equipment at the Reamstown Elementary School, located at 44 South Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567. This Invitation to Bid provides interested Respondents with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit a bid for consideration by the Cocalico School District. Requests for clarification should be submitted to Christopher Dunn, Food Service Director, at cdunn@cocalico.org. These questions shall be printed or typed and submitted on the Request for Clarification form provided in this bid packet by Friday, January 26, 2024. In the event that it becomes necessary to revise any part of this bid, addenda will be posted on the District Electronically and provided to Bidders who have scheduled site visits. The timetable of delivery and installing of items will be developed by the Cocalico School District. The project start date shall be on or about June 3, 2024 based on the conclusion of the Districts instructional school year. Substantial Completion for the items to be installed and ready for use is by August 1, 2024. Time is of the essence for this project to be completed prior to the start of the 2024-25 pupil instructional school year and liquidated damages of $750 a day shall be applied. The Cocalico School District will notify the lowest responsible bidder of intention to accept his bid and to make a formal award of contract to him. The Cocalico School District reserves the right to require a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond. The bond will be due within ten (10) days from receipt of such notice, Bidder shall furnish performance bond to the Cocalico School District each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum and the required insurance certificates. It is the complete responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the bid has been received at this address by the date and time specified. The cabinets, equipment and lines will be delivered and installed according to the schedule developed by the Cocalico School District. The Cocalico School District Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, either by item or in total, and will make award in the best interest of the school district.
