This project has been cancelled The Department has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Progressive Design-Build services on the FrontRunner 2.0 Progressive Design-Build project. Project Description(s) This solicitation is to double track and provide systems and signal improvements in nine (9) specifically designated segments over the existing 82-mile FrontRunner commuter rail system. The following nine segments have been identified for initial double-track improvements o North of Clearfield Station o Centerville to Woods Cross Station o Beck Yard o Warm Springs Maintenance and Storage Yard o South of Salt Lake Central Station o South of Murray Central Station o South of Draper Station o North of Lehi Station o North of American Fork Station In conjunction with UTA, the Department may choose to reduce or expand the locations of the services sought by this solicitation (for example, the design and construction of additional doubletrack segments, related facilities, or work at other sites). In the event the Department and UTA include additional locations, other than those identified above, an addendum or a new contract will be executed prior to beginning any work. Multiple Categorical Exclusion (CatEx) documents are being completed simultaneously for the initial design efforts of the FrontRunner 2.0 project. The documents and information released with this solicitation are not fully comprehensive or complete. Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has specified a DBE participation goal of 1.82% for the Work to be performed under the resulting Contract. Questions Due Date: Feb 20th 2024, 5:00 PM MST
