Dc Waters SDWMR and LFC Qualification Programs Question Deadline 01/03/2024 2:00 PM EST LFDC CIPERR By Block Construction Program o Purpose of Program: o The Lead Free DC (LFDC) CIPERR By Block Construction Program is part of DC Water's planned 10-year Capital Improvement Program where projects is released targeting the replacement of all lead service lines in Washington, D.C. streets. The By Block Program makes up the largest portion of DC Water's Lead Free DC Program, and will address all blocks in the District containing premises with Lead Service Lines. DC Water's criteria for scheduling construction includes factors that prioritize public health, social equity, and vulnerable populations Program Scope: o Test pits to confirm water service material Water service line replacements o Water service lines two inches and smaller in public and private space as needed o Curb stop/curb stop box, meter box and penetration through building wall and connection to the first fitting inside the building including installation of a shut-off valve and pressure reducing valve, where applicable o Permanent pavement and surface restoration
