Site work and paving for a road / highway in Covington, Louisiana. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Downtown Mill and Overlay For furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, etc., and performing all work necessary to complete the Downtown Mill and Overlay, for the City of Covington, Louisiana. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana Contractors license in Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. The project consists of a mill and overlay of asphalt roadways and associated work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified check, cashiers check, or Bid Bond as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A.C, in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without conditions to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute a Contract in accordance with his proposal and all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. The outside envelope in which the bid is placed must be clearly marked as follows: Sealed Bid: City Of Covington Downtown Mill and Overlay Questions concerning plans and specifications will be reviewed. Changes, if warranted, will be made by addendum. All questions should be emailed to Frank Zemmer at fzemmer@rclconsultants.com and copied to Eric Kocken at ekocken@rclconsultants.com and Callie Baker cbaker@covla.com. Questions received in writing to RCLC by 2:00 P.M. on February 1st, 2024, may be addressed by addendum. Any questions after that date will not be answered.
