Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hudson, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and municipal facility.
The extent of the work involved consists generally of the interior renovation of the lower-level Community Center and main floor Council Chambers room. Hallway and restroom revisions will also be included for ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Work of this proposed Contract comprises remodeling and renovation, including general construction Work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or certified credit union share draft in a separate sealed envelope in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Each successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds acceptable to the Board on forms provided in the Contract Documents in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Work under the proposed contract for each section shall commence on or before the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed and shall be completed and ready for operation on or before August 29, 2024 The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to readvertise for new bids and to waive informalities that may be in the best interests of the Owner.
