The City of Calabasas (City) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified engineering surveying firms to provide land surveying services on as-needed basis. The firms selected will provide engineering surveying services to the City for various CIP projects and city-owned projects. The City intends to award one or more contracts to provide the requested services for a three-year term, with up to two one-year extensions. Proposals submitted to City must comply with and contain all of the information requested in this RFP. The selected companies must sign an agreement with the terms and conditions shown in the Professional Services Agreement, (Attachment A). Firms are encouraged to promptly notify the City of any apparent inconsistencies or ambiguities found in the scope of services so that an appropriate amendment may be issued. All inquiries regarding the Request for Proposal shall be submitted, in email, to Tatiana Holden, P.E. Deputy Director of Public Works at tholden@cityofcalabasas.com with the RFP title in the subject line, by 4:00 p.m. on January 31, 2024. The proposer is specifically directed NOT to contact any City Council members or personnel, other than specified personnel identified in this RFP. A response from the City to all inquiries shall be posted on the City's website no later than 4:00 p.m., February 7, 2024. Only questions submitted through this process can be relied upon. Sole responsibility rests with the bidder to see that their response is received on time. Any inquiries received after due date and time will not be accepted. The initial contract term will be for three years from the start date which is expected to be March 2024. The City shall have the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to terminate this Agreement at any time. If the City exercises its right to terminate this Agreement, the Agreement shall cease to exist. City reserves the right to inspect the work being accomplished by the Contractor at any time. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
