SCOPE The County issoliciting bidsfor a 45' x 200'steel building. Vendor must furnish all components of a building for a complete install (by others), including primary and secondary steel, all wall and roof panels, gutters and downspouts, insulation, anchor bolts, and doors. Erection of and site work for the pre-engineered metal building will be contracted for under a separate Request for Bid. Although the selection of a qualified erector will be made under a separate solicitation, vendors under this solicitation are requested to submit with their bid, a list of pre-qualified erectorsthat meet the requirements of the building manufacturer for New York State. 1. 22' eave height (or clear height of 16' minimum) 2. Gable roof 2:12 pitch 3. Roof panels to be 26 gauge screw-down panel; colors to be chosen from standard manufacturer's selection 4. Clear span 5. Bay spacing 7 @ 20 ft. 6. Wall panels to be 26 gauge R-panel; colors to be chosen from standard manufacturer's selection 7. 26ga standard galvalume trim 8. All walls to be sheeted 9. Walls and ceiling insulated with R-30 10. Interior partition wall, insulated, to create office/bunk area. Ceiling of office/bunk area to be insulated and able to support storage above. Final size of office/bunk area to be finalized during shop drawing review. 11. (3) 3/0 x 7/0 wind rated steel door, including all hardware 12. Location of doors and windows to be determined 13. (7) 10 ft. W x 16 ft. H wind load roll up door 14. 6'' Gutter and downspouts at both elevations with downspouts at four corners according to current New York Building Code; Gutters to be manufacturer's standard profile 15. All primary and secondary steel (non-galvanized items) shall be factory primed 16. 125 mph wind load, Exposure C 17. Live load: 20 psf 18. Snow load: 22 psf 19. Building Code: New York State 2020 or latest 20. Provide lead time for delivery (for informational purposes only) 21. Provide warranty information (for informational purposes only) 22. Provide list of pre-qualified erectors (for informational purposes only) 23. See attached preliminary drawing 24. Electrical by others
