Reference Number 0000339419 Job Location: 5401 W. 22nd Ave. Anticipated Construction Completion May 17, 2024 Notice is hereby given that the City of Edgewater (City) is accepting proposals from qualified Bidders (Bidders) for the construction of Phase 1 Improvements at Citizens' Park located at 5401 W. 22nd Avenue. The park has been designed and Construction Documents can be found in Attachment A. This project includes demolition, earthwork, hardscape, fencing, landscaping, electrical and site furnishings. Both Construction Documents (Attachment A) and a Bid Form (Attachment C) are provided to demonstrate the full scope of work. Examples of work to be completed are: Infield leveling Drainage improvements Repair of lights, and automation of clock system Replacement of backstop fencing and dugouts Leveling of bleacher seating Cosmetic upgrades to restroom and maintenance building Creation of north plaza with pavers, trees, and vegetation The scope of this project may be expanded or reduced based on construction costs. It is expected that the selected Bidder will meet the requirements set forth and complete a project that will remain within the budget. Examples of potential expansion items include: Turf improvements Additional irrigation repair Cosmetic upgrades to restrooms The project must meet all applicable Federal, State, and local codes. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder to include in their proposal a full scope and associated costs for the necessary services/work. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals submitted in response to this RFP.
