The Project provides for drainage improvements on 1st Street, 2nd Street, Big Thicket Drive, Birch Drive, Bishop Loop, Bronx Road, Buchanan Drive, Chessher Street, Collins Road, Crow Road, Eastham Street, Flowers Drive, Murphy Drive, Pecan Grove Road, Spruce Road, Sycamore Road, and Weaver Drive within Hardin County, Texas measuring approximately 29,700 linear feet of roadside ditches. The deadline to ask questions is 1/31/2024 5:00 PM CST The scope of work includes, but not limited to: 1. Mobilization 2. Re-grade roadside ditches 3. Remove and replace 12" HDPE culverts 4. Remove and replace 15" HDPE culverts 5. Remove and replace 18" HDPE culverts 6. Remove and replace 24" HDPE culverts 7. Remove and replace 12" RCP culverts 8. Remove and replace 18" RCP culverts 9. Remove and replace 24" RCP culverts 10. Driveway surface restoration (asphalt) 11. Driveway surface restoration (rock/gravel) 12. Driveway surface restoration (dirt/grass) 13. Asphalt roadway surface restoration 14. Hydromulch seeding 15. Remove and dispose of existing Junction Box 16. Install 6'x6'x3.75' Junction Box 17. Power Pole stabilization 18. Barricades, signs and traffic handling 19. TPDES storm water permit compliance A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Hardin County, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Hardin County, Texasreserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Hardin County, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
