Site work for a civil project in Los Banos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and made payable to Le Grand Athlone Water District (District). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Contractor shall be duly licensed under the laws of the State of California to submit a bid and to perform the work. The Contractor shall have a Class A license and shall remain duly licensed throughout the performance of the Contract. The bids will be opened in public at the above prescribed time and date. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, however, the District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bid, and to postpone the date of the bid opening. Phase 1. The work is set forth in the Contract Documents and generally includes Canal earthwork, concrete canal lining, rip rap slope protection, reinforced concrete pipe for road crossings and creek siphons, reinforced concrete structures, miscellaneous metal, canal gates, and flow meters.
