The Project includes the following Work: Installation of generators at Water Well No. 5 and Lift Station No. 1 / Service Center. Estimate: $275,000.00 The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Bid bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance to do business in Texas and to issue said bond. The bid bond must be signed by an authorized representative of the surety and the representative must be licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance The successful Bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms which are attached hereto in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price within 15 days after receipt of the Contract Documents. See the requirements for Performance and Payment Bonds, immediately after the Agreement, for additional information. The Project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rates, as issued by the Department of Labor, and contained in the Contract Documents, must be paid on this Project. In addition, the successful Bidder must ensure that the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. The City of Richwood reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids.
