Site work for a road / highway in Cape Coral, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Cape Coral is soliciting bids for the replacement and/or repair of all damaged roadway signs on FEMA eligible roadways within city limits due to Hurricane Ian wind damage. Based on existing information, the city estimates between 40% to 45% of the approximately 7,500 signs will need to be replaced and/or repaired. While performing the street sign work, the selected contractor shall work with city staff and technology to update sign conditions in Cartegraph. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER: 2:00 PM ET ON JANUARY 29, 2024, all questions must be submitted through Ion Wave at https://capecoral.ionwave.net and received by stated time. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and operations necessary to complete the following work, but not limited to, inspect, furnish, repair, replace, or adjust all damaged roadway signs, signposts, hardware, and concrete work within the right-of-way on all Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) eligible roadways detailed in Exhibit A. All work and operations will be in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards and specifications, unless superseded by the City specifications or contract documents. In addition to items as outlined in the specifications and bid documents the operations necessary may consist of all or part of the following, but shall not necessarily be limited to the following: All maintenance of traffic. City of Cape Coral Right-of-Way permits (ROW permits will be Contractor's responsibility, fee to be waived.) Delivery of material to site (hauling). Removal, transport, and disposal of damaged assemblies. Final cleanup of job site and repair of any damage caused by construction activities.
