Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kersey, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project is in Kersey, Colorado at the southeast corner of the intersection of Hill Street and 1st Street. This project consists of approximately 268 SY sidewalk, 600 LF curb and gutter, 157 SY asphalt paving, 359 SY concrete parking, 160 LF 12-inch trench drain, 57 LF 18-inch RCP storm drain, 1 EA Manhole, 42 SY ADA curb ramps, 527 SY stone landscape wall with pipe handrail, pedestrian crossing with rapid flashing beacons to improve pedestrian safety in this area, and improved parking orientation to increase traffic safety along Hill Street and other miscellaneous work. This contract is a Federally assisted construction contract as such all applicable federal requirements, terms and conditions, provisions and forms will be included in the bidding documents. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Kersey negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall conform with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Work, once started, will be substantially completed within 45 Days consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 7 Days consecutive calendar days past substantial completion. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the Town of Kersey, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The Town of Kersey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Town of Kersey, is in the best interests of the Town of Kersey.
