Valley Water is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified companies to provide 1) fire protection systems inspection and preventative maintenance, 2) on-call fire protection services at specified Valley Water facilities, and 3) remote fire alarm monitoring. Valley Water will require the Contractor to supply all equipment, tools, materials, mechanical machinery, and all labor and safety equipment to perform these services. Valley Water will select the top contractor from the RFP process though work is not guaranteed to either contractor. Valley Water has a need for Fire Protection Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Services, including annual testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance of fire suppression systems, sprinklers, alarms, and hood systems. The remote fire alarm monitoring must comply with NFPA 7 All work is to be performed by a qualified fire system inspection company per the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) requirements. When applicable, Contractor shall follow all required regulations concerning lockout/tagout procedures All services required under this agreement shall be provided in accordance with the standards listed herein. The following are to be provided by the Contractor: a quote prior for all work ahead, anything over $5,000.00 Valley Water reserves the right to bid out required services.
Contractor shall have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience servicing systems including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Fire Alarm
2. Fire Sprinkling Systems
3. Computer Room Fire Suppression System
4. Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems
5. FM200 or dry agent suppression systems
6. Fire Standpipes, PIV's, and FDC's
7. Fire Hydrants
8. Fire Doors
9. Heat/Smoke Detectors
10. Remote alarm monitoring The Proposer shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, tax, apparatus, facilities, labor, transportation, supervision, and management not provided by Valley Water, to complete the work described in this RFP. The successful Proposer will provide 1) fire protection systems inspection and preventative maintenance, 2) on-call fire protection services at specified Valley Water facilities, and 3) remote fire alarm monitoring detailed in the Scope of Services
