Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the Board) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Gymnasium Renovation at Lord Strathcona Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). Quotations will only be accepted from General Contractors who have been prequalified #12-17. ALSO INVITED to submit a bid are as follows: -AFW Construction Ltd.; -Anglin Group Ltd; -AWD Contractors (2099042 Ontario Ltd); -Jensen Building Ltd; -Roof & Building Services Intl (div of Ricardo Roofing); -Shea Construction. Renovations to the existing gymnasium includes scopes of: - Mechanical: Removal of abandoned radiators and radiant heating systems. Supply and install two new natural gas fired Rooftop units and associated distribution systems and connections. Comprehensive testing, adjusting, and balancing of newly installed systems. - Electrical: Removal of existing lighting, devices, and Controls and replace with new along with protective coverings. Inclusion of all necessary circuiting conductors and conduit. - Architectural: Removal of existing ceilings to replace with new gypsum board and adding bulkheads. Repainting gymnasium and Stage. Refinishing and repainting gymnasium floors. Acoustic treatment, masonry infill, new flooring, and replacing doors and frames where indicated.
