Greene Township (Owner) is requesting separate sealed Bids for the construction of each contract for the following Project: Proposed Municipal Modular Building Contract #1 - General Trades Contract #2 - Modular Unit Contract #3 - Electrical Trades Separate Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project including furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and complete performance. The Project includes the following Work: This entire project consists of the purchase and site construction of a 1,410 SF new municipal modular office and community building, including accessible parking, parking stalls, installation of a water and sewer line, underground electrical service entrance, landscaping, and stormwater management facilities located at the current township office, 243 Garard's Fort Road in Greene Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. The project will be separated into three (3) separate contracts: Contract #1 - General Trades, Contract #2 - Modular Unit and Contract #3 - Electrical. Separate sealed bids are requested for each Contract number. Combined bids shall not be accepted, but contractors can submit separate bids for each contract. Mechanical and Plumbing Contracts are not required since there is little or no scheduled work. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to "K2 Engineering, Inc." Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Digital delivery shall be free of delivery charges but must first pay the non-refundable deposit fee. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms, in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside Bids delivered after the specified time shall not be accepted, will not be opened and will be returned. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to be non-responsible. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder by use of a change order.
