Wood County Schools is reques3ng bids for the following: Kanawha Elementary School - Electrical Materials. There is no pre-bid meeting. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder shall submit a Performance and Material Bond within ten (10) calendar days of award notification. Failure to submit a Performance Bond nullifies the Bid. The successful bidder shall ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days aQer the bid opening. Wood County Schools reserves the right to conduct such inves3ga3on as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder, to waive all the informali3es in the bidding process to the extent permitted by law, to reject any or all bids, and to make selec3ons from the bids that are solely in the best interest of Wood County Schools. Pursuant to Chapter 21 - Ar3cle 11 of the "West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act" all Contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed to perform work in the State. The Contractor's WV License number shall be affixed to all submitted construc3on bids and fully executed and binding construc3on contracts and agreements.
