The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority ("MBTA" or "Authority") seeks security upgrades, Phase 1 includes installing the communications room, communications network, electronic access control, ten (10) cameras around the perimeter of the building, and four (4) cameras in the interior of the building for the second-floor office area and communications room. Deadline for submission of Proposer questions on electronically 1/23/2024 2:00 p.m. Official Answers for Bid Q&A published by MBTA on electronically 1/30/2024 2:00 p.m. Service Start Date (estimated) 2/20/2024. Scanned copy of bid deposit bond included in response. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive Bid and eligible Bidder. The MBTA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine if a Bid is lowest responsible and eligible bidder. In determining whether a Bidder has the ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of the proposed procurement, the MBTA will consider such matters as the Bidder's integrity, compliance with public policy (e.g., EEO record, attainment of DBE goal, debarment status, etc.), record of past performance, specific minimum requirements detailed in the RFP (if any), and financial and technical resources. Bidder is required to complete Form A: Pre-Award Bidder Evaluation Data Form. The MBTA may also exclude from consideration any Bidder whose Response contains a material misrepresentation. The MBTA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, in whole or in part, if such action is determined to be in the best interests of the Authority. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the lowest priced responsive Bid and responsible Bidder.
