The Rockford Park District invites qualified contractors to submit a bid for the Aldeen Golf Club golf course renovation project. District is looking to update the golf course by completing a bunker project to bring the bunkers up to current standards. The scope of the projects involves the reconstruction of all sand bunkers, an updating of the green surrounds, and expansions of fairways. This work includes the removal of existing turf and sand, reconstruction of the sand bunkers with the Better Billy Bunker system, and the removal of sand bunkers. Contractors must be a buildermemberoftheGolfCourse Builders Association of America. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the Park District.
