The North Bay Jack Garland Airport Corporation, operator of the North Bay Jack Garland Airport, is seeking services to provide janitorial duties related to the airport's administration building, terminal and Nav Canada tower. The term of this agreement is (5) years. This service will commence at 00:01 hours on the 1st day of April, 2024 and terminate at 24:00 hours on the 31st day of March, 2029 subject to earlier termination or renewal. The contract may automatically be renewed thereafter for yearly periods under the same terms and conditions, subject to prior cancellation or revision as provided for under this Agreement, and at the sole discretion of the Airport Manager. General Services Required - Routine Cleaning Tasks The janitorial staff shall provide services as per the guidelines established by the Airport and Proponent jointly. Such services may include, but are not limited to, the following "Routine Cleaning Tasks": (a) General cleaning and disinfecting of all office spaces including work stations and desks, floors, contact surfaces, overhead vents, and windows (b) Cleaning and disinfecting of all washrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, contact surfaces, floors, overhead vents, and windows; and the clearing of toilet blockages with a plunger C Cleaning and disinfecting of all lunchrooms including sinks, contact surfaces, floors, tables, chairs, overhead vents, windows, and the surface and handles of appliances (but shall not include the cleaning of appliance interiors); (d) Cleaning of workshops including work stations and desks, floors, contact surfaces, overhead vents, and windows (e) Cleaning of foyers, concourse, and vestibules including floors, mats, contact surfaces, overhead vents, and windows/doors (f) Emptying all garbage and recycling receptacles in the facilities, washrooms, offices, etc. (except those on the Garage shop floor), taking waste for collection to airport supplied dumpster bins outside of the facilities (g) Carpet cleaning yearly (Note that vacuuming is limited to only the Administration Building) (h) Floor maintenance yearly in all buildings which will include washing, striping, waxing and sealing in certain areas (for clarity this is in addition to daily general cleaning of the spaces). (i) Disposal of all cleaning products and material as appropriate (j) Maintenance and cleaning of entryways which will include. Additional "as and when requested' services Additional, emergency and one-time cleaning may be required in addition to the routine cleaning or scheduled cleaning.
