Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Southgate, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of April , 2024, the project was awarded to E.C. King Contracting of 2125 20th Avenue East Owen Sound Ontario Canada N4K 5P7 on March 28 2024 for a total price of $4,793,580.75 (excluding HST).** Schedule A Grey Road 9 - 4,088 m of pulverizing, full depth asphalt removal and hot mix paving from Sideroad 7 to Sideroad 13, including the intersections. - The above work will include: - Pulverizing of existing bituminous surface where curbs do not exist. - Full-Depth removal of existing bituminous surface between existing curbs. - Granular Base placement, grading and compaction. - Hot Mix Asphalt Paving. - Curb and Gutter Replacement (selected locations). - Culvert Replacement. - Guide Rail Replacement. - Entrance Rehabilitation. - Shoulder Gravel placement, grading and compaction. - Granular Sealing. - Pavement Marking. Schedule B Grey Road 14 - 8,840 m of pulverizing and hot mix paving from 900m north of Southgate Road 24 to Grey Road 4, excluding the intersection at Grey Road 4. The above work will include: - Pulverizing of existing bituminous surface. - Topsoil Stripping (selected locations). - Topsoil placement (selected locations). - Road Platform Widening (selected locations). - Granular Base placement, grading and compaction. - Granular fill placement, grading and compaction (selected locations). - Hot Mix Asphalt Paving. - Culvert Replacement. - Guide Rail Replacement. - Entrance Rehabilitation. - Shoulder Gravel placement, grading and compaction. - Granular Sealing. - Pavement Marking. - Hydraulic Mulch placement.
