The Contractor shall furnish and install any Parish-maintained Street Sign (including, but not limited to regulatory signs, warning signs, guide signs, service specific signs, tourist-oriented directional signs, recreational and cultural interest signs and/or emergency management signs) which existed prior to and was damaged or missing as a result of a natural disaster or state of emergency. This refers to the sign only and does not include post replacement. The Contractor shall furnish and install any Parish-maintained Sign Post which existed prior to and was damaged or missing as a result of a natural disaster or state of emergency. This refers to the post only and does not include sign replacement. The Contractor shall attach to a new sign post or existing sign post in good condition any existing Parish-maintained Street Sign (including, but not limited to regulatory signs, warning signs, guide signs, service specific signs, tourist-oriented directional signs, recreational and cultural interest signs and/or emergency management signs) or a Jefferson Parish Supplied new Street Name Sign to replace a sign which existed prior to and was damaged or missing as a result of a natural disaster or state of emergency. The Contractor shall remove, salvage and deliver any damaged (by a natural disaster or state of emergency) sign post with or without an attached sign to the recycling container located at the Jefferson Parish Sign and Signal Facility, 2100 Dickory Avenue, Harahan, Louisiana 70123. The Contractor shall straighten any Parish-maintained Sign Post misaligned as a result of a natural disaster or state of emergency, regardless of post length. The post shall be removed by jacking and re-driving. Existing signs attached to the post in good condition shall be removed and reattached with new hardware to the straightened post. Existing signs attached to the post which are damaged shall be removed, salvaged, and delivered to the recycling container located at the Jefferson Parish Sign and Signal Facility, 2100 Dickory Avenue, Harahan, Louisiana 70123. Two (2) Year Pre-Placed Contract for Emergency Repair and/or Replacement of Traffic Control Signs Damaged as a Result of a Natural Disaster or Other State of Emergency for the West Bank of Jefferson Parish for the Traffic Engineering Division.
