Renovation of an educational facility in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
"As of March 11,2024 project has not been awarded yet, anticipated awarding of contract is on March 19,2024 and the anticipated start date is May 28,2024" A Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the contract will be required. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District. It is the policy of River Trails School District 26, to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued resulting from this solicitation to bid. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Bidders are required to submit an electronic AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement to Nicholas & Associates, Inc., prior to receiving bidding documents.
