As of January 30, 2024, this project is in the design development phase and design is being done by owner in-house staff. The owner will decide by the end of year 2024 whether this project will bid for a contractor or have construction done by owner in-house staff. Construction is expected to start in 2025. Description The Palmer Divide Avenue Paving Project Phase 3 consists of extending the asphalt roadway on Palmer Divide Avenue from Black Forest Road to South East Cherry Creek Road. Palmer Divide Avenue lies on the southern boundary of Douglas County. This portion of Palmer Divide Avenue is currently maintained by Douglas County. This project will also replace two existing culvert crossings with new crossings including flared end sections.
