Reference Number 0000262399 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/23 04:00:00 PM CST The purpose of the structure inspections is to ensure, within an economic framework, an acceptable standard in terms of structure safety, public safety, comfort and convenience. The scope of the work assignment includes the following: Satisfy the Ontario Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act - Ontario Regulation 104/97, Clause 2, Subsection 3; Complete inspections of the 23 bridges and structures in accordance with the 2018 version of the Ontario Structure Inspection manual (OSIM); Record inspection findings using the 2018 OSIM format forms, including an inspection photographic log; Identify required rehabilitation and maintenance items along with associated Class C cost estimates and priority timing; Confirm structure inventory information and element dimensions; Provide a proposed bridge replacement schedule and Class C cost estimate based on a 10-year horizon; Calculate each structures Bridge Condition Index (BCI) and provide a BCI summary report (for bridges only, provided under a separate cover); Provide an excel spreadsheet identifying each structure's replacement cost based on superstructure and substructure category along with a proposed demolition/removal cost and; Develop an executive inspection summary report for each structure.
