Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Kasabonika, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,880-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
It is the intent of Shoal Lake 40 First Nation (SL40) in partnership with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) to prequalify a list of General Contractors for the construction of a new Jordan's Principle building and garage located in Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, Ontario. Following analysis of the submissions to this Request for Prequalification (RFPQ), by the Evaluation Subcommittee a shortlist of qualified General Contractors will be invited to submit formal bids for the project in April 2024. The preliminary construction start date will be May 2024, with occupancy required by September 2025. The issue of the final tender and contract award is dependent on project funding.
