Site work for a water / sewer project in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the complete installation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of manhole to manhole lining of various diameter existing sanitary sewers by Cured-In-Place (CIP) methods, manhole adjustments, in trench spot repairs to existing sanitary sewers, reconnection of existing service connections, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
