The project consists of investigating water service locations throughout the Village per the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Complete System Distribution Material Inventory (CDSMI) guidelines. Inspections include water service potholing at all noted locations on the public side of the water service line. The Contractor will be required to upload service material information and photographs into an online geodatabase set up by the engineer. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Village of Decatur will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
