The work will include, but is not limited to, the manufacture of a precast concrete box culvert delivery and setting-in-place of the box culvert, and post tensioning. Proposals must be on forms furnished by the municipality. Contact the Township at 717-865-3614 for bid forms A certified check or Bid Bond payable to or naming as Obligee East Hanover Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the Bid as a guarantee that in the case the Contract is awarded the successful Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish all Bonds as may be required. This contract is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate minimum wage rates must be paid by the contractor for performance of all necessary work. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The contractor shall also comply with Act 127 of 2012. East Hanover Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any Bid Item, and to award the Contract as may be deemed by East Hanover Township Board of Supervisors to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof.
