As of July 28, 2025, this project is seeking ODOT approval. It is anticipated bidding will commence in December 2025, with construction starting in Spring 2026. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Huron is requesting Qualification Statements (RFQ) in the form of a Letter of Interest (LOI) from ODOT pre-qualified, professional engineers to provide engineering, surveying and bidding services for the City s PID 107223 ERI - US 0006 - 16.07 Phase II Reconstruction Project (SR2 to Center St). All responses must be marked RFQ Response for US6 Phase II Project. Each proposal must contain the full names of the party or parties making the same, with an affidavit as to interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and/or to waive any informalities in the proposals received.
