The Project includes the following Work: The project includes rehabilitation of approximately 11,264 LF of roadway. Roadway rehabilitation work includes the addition of gravel base over the existing pavement structure prior to pulverizing, regrading of gravel base and pulverized pavement, proof roll of roadway base and any required undercut, and placement of new asphaltic pavement and shoulders. Project work also includes ditch grading, culvert replacements, necessary driveway replacements, and associated erosion control and restoration as indicated in the Construction Plans and Documents. The anticipated substantial completion date is August 30th, 2024 and final completion date is September 13th, 2024. Contractor shall have 30 working days to achieve substantial completion after start of disturbance. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program [TRI/ TRID]. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
