Site work for a mixed-use development in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Fort Saskatchewan aims to rehabilitate 100 Avenue, between 100 Street to 101 Street, as well as the Warden's Residence Loop which have reached the end of their service life. 100 Avenue is a local road that runs between the Fort Heritage Precinct and Legacy Park. The road provides vehicle and pedestrian access to surrounding landmarks and parks. The scope of this project includes total reconstruction of the roadways and curb and gutters, shifting the Legacy Park parking lot access and enhancing sidewalk and trail connectivity with adding designated crosswalk areas and an asphalt trail. It is the City's intent to maintain the historical integrity of the area, specifically the Warden's Residence Loop by ensuring there is no change to the historical content of the grounds. This project will include, but is not limited to, road reconstruction, spot replacement and addition of concrete walks and curbs, a new asphalt trail, re-landscaping, and pavement markings and signage.
