No definite date for the rebid.** The work includes all labor, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to construct and deliver the finished Hollister Avenue Class I Bike Path Lighting Project. Work includes installation of lighting at existing box locations, installation of new pull boxes if necessary, and removal and replacement of concrete associated with new installations. The project consists of installing 40 overhead path lights at existing pullbox locations along the Hollister Class I Bike Path. The work includes, but is not limited to: traffic control, excavation, erosion control, paving, and lighting installation. All communications relative to this project shall be conducted through electronically. Questions about alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications, or estimate must be asked before bid opening. After bid opening, the CITY does not consider these questions as bid protests. It is required that the Bidders have fully inspected the Project site in all particulars and become thoroughly familiar with the terms and conditions of the Bid Plans and Special Provisions and local conditions affecting the performance and costs of the Work prior to bidding and it is recommended that this be done prior to attending this meeting. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1773, the City has ascertained the General Prevailing Rate of Wages in the County in which the work is to be done to be as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California. Contractor is hereby made aware that information regarding prevailing wage rates may be obtained from the State Department of Industrial Relations and/or electronically. The Contractor is required to post a copy of the applicable wage rates at the job site. Attention is directed to Section 7 "Legal Relations and Responsibility to the Public" of the Standard Construction Specifications. The California Air Resources Board ("CARB") implemented amendments to the In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulations ("Regulation") which are effective on January 1, 2024 and apply broadly to all self-propelled off road diesel vehicles 25 horsepower or greater and other forms of equipment used in California. A copy of the Regulation is available electronically. Bidders are required to comply with all CARB and Regulation requirements, including, without limitation, all applicable sections of the Regulation, as codified in Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations section 2449 et seq. throughout the term of the Project. Bidders must provide, with their Bid, copies of Bidder's and all listed subcontractors the most recent, valid Certificate of Reported Compliance ("CRC") issued by CARB.
