The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 is accepting tenders for the crush and stockpile of 100,000 cubic yards of 7/8" road gravel at gravel pit located on SE 19-23-20w3m. The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 (hereafter referred to as the RM) is interested in obtaining tenders for the crushing and stockpiling gravel at the RM Gravel Pit known as the Pool Pit located at SE-19-23-20-w3m. It is expected that the amount of finished gravel product will be 100,000 cubic yards, to a gradation identified below. Total figures quoted must reflect the total cost, in Canadian Funds, to the RM of Snipe Lake No. 259. G.S.T. must be listed separately but must be included in Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder upon award shall provide gravel crushing to the specification provided in this tender. The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 may provide material testing during the crushing operation to monitor quality of the product. Failure to meet specification may result in termination of the contract by the RM. Included in the pricing form below are items of work related to crushing of granule, stockpiling of finished product, stockpiling of waste product, shaping of the side slopes following excavation, and mobilization effort. All tenders but be submitted on the Tender Bid Form included in the tender package along with Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board Letter of Good Standing and proof of minimum Liability Insurance. The contract period for crushing of gravel is expected to be complete by Sept 30 th, 2024. The RM of Snipe Lake reserves the right to reject any and all tenders, lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 will normally award contracts to the lowest competent Bidder meeting the required specifications. However, the RM retains the right to reject any or all Tenders/Quotations/Proposals and to take into consideration past performance of bidders on similar contracts, both in and out of the RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 and such other factors the RM considers relevant including timing of services to be provided.
