The Scope of work is to provide full-service operations and management of the following water/waste water treatment facilities. Firms have the option to propose on one, some or all of the following 1. Gateway of the Americas - Water Treatment Plant and Distribution System a. Assume visits to the site daily, including holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Respondent shall provide an operator seven days a week including holidays, for a minimum of two hours each day. 2. Gateway of the Americas - Sewer Treatment Plant and Collection System a. Assume visits to the site daily, including holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Respondent shall provide an operator seven days a week, for a minimum of two hours each day. 3. Country Club Sewer Maintenance District - Collection System a. Assume visits to the site three times per week, Monday through Friday. 4. Poe Colonia Waste Water Treatment System - Waste Water Treatment Plant and Collection System a. Assume visits to the site three days per week Monday through Friday. 5. Niland County Sanitary District - Waste Water Treatment Plant and Collection System. Each facility will be open for one hour for review. Questions will not be accepted at the site and must be submitted in writing or email. All questions or request for clarifications must be submitted no later than the close of business on May 4, 2023. The proposal content and information section of the RFP requires for a bidding firm to submit an analysis of their interpretation of what is required to maintain regulatory compliance including grounds keeping, meter readings, septic tanks, equipment monitoring and reporting. The purpose of the walk through is so that each interested firm(s) is able to view all facilities and equipment in an effort to make a more informed narrative in their assessment and requirements for their proposal. Clarification desired by a respondent relating to definition or interpretation shall be requested in writing or email with sufficient time to allow for a response and prior to the date RFPs are due. Oral explanation or instructions shall not be considered binding on behalf of the County. Assume visits to the site each day, including holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Respondent shall provide at least one operator at the site seven days a week. There may be times when two operators are necessary. Sampling is required three times per day per the Waste Discharge Requirements (WDR). Deadline for Questions February 5, 2024
