Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Cincinnati seeks qualified bidders for SRTS KIRBY WALK This project includes constructing a new sidewalk from the Sun Valley Apartments to West North Bend Road, constructing pedestrian safety features at the West North Bend Road and Kirby Avenue intersection and constructing school flashers near the Wooward High School. The projects work includes earthwork excavations and embankments; concrete flatwork such as curbs, sidewalks, and drives; a minor curb wall; storm water improvements such as manholes, inlets, and pipes; curb signage installation; curb ramps; curb extensions; flexible delineators; school zone flashers; and other associated roadway construction items. This is an LPA Project funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration through the ODOT Local-Let process and is subject to Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program requirements. Please note, any bids received without the electronic submission of the DBE Utilization Plan at or before the time of bid, will be deemed unresponsive. Again, the DBE Utilization Plan must be filled out completely and submitted electronically at or before the time of bid opening. All bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified for the type of work specified and must comply with all applicable federal requirements. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. All bidders will be subject to the provisions in the City of Cincinnati Municipal Code regarding the Equal Employment Opportunity Program contained in Chapter 325 (Ordinance 331-1999) of the Cincinnati Municipal Code.
