Scope of Work Scope: The Work under this Contract is funded through a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), therefore payment AND submittal of proof of payment of federal prevailing wages and FH/EO requirements are applicable. Project includes the construction of a permanent fishing pier, an accessible canoe/kayak launch, and a paved pathway as indicated on the Drawings and in the Technical Specifications. Bids will be submitted using the Bid Form provided herein. Bid security shall be by a qualified surety in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of Bid amount and shall be submitted with the Bid. Bidders shall agree to not withdraw the Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after due date of Bids. Accepted Bidders will be required, as a condition precedent to award of Contract, to furnish in the amount of 100% of the contract price, satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance. The right to reject any or all Bids, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities is reserved by Waukesha County. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Matters pertaining to the withdrawal of a Bid and to claims of error, omission or mistake in preparing or submitting a Bid shall be governed by Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. All Bids shall be effective and open for acceptance for a period of sixty (60) days after date set for opening of Bids.
