This is a renovation project for Todd County Senior Citizens Center. This project is being funded by a Kentucky Community Development Block Grant, (KCDBG), Funds are limited to this source and the scope of work shall not exceed the source of funds. The focus of this project is to repair, renovate and prevent the buildings deterioration. The new works include the addition of a new PAC office, storage room, toilet, and waiting area. The project is located at 104 Morris Weathers Street, Elkton, Kentucky. Form of Bid is Lump Sum from general contractors. Bid security in the form specified and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the lump sum base bid shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the Owner with a 10% performance and material payment bond. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (90) ninety days subsequent to the opening of bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
