Renovation of a municipal facility in Elkton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Furnish all hardware, electronics, associated equipment and provide installation instruction with technical assistance as needed for the addition of up to 8 Outdoor Warning Sirens in Todd County Kentucky. Also to be included is the necessary additional equipment at the Todd County Dispatch Center to allow for control of the 8 new and 5 existing sirens individually, grouped or county wide as needed. The specifications detailed in this bid are to be considered minimum requirements. Installation The bid price will include all costs associated with the delivery and technical installation instructions of: 1. The siren 2. The motor starter controls 3. All radio controllers, receivers, antenna, coax and electrical connections 4. Deep cycle batteries 5. Solar battery charging system 6. All electrical connections, components 7. Protective panel box 8. Mounting hardware 9. Shipping & handling 10. Hardware to allow the siren is to be installed on a class two (2) utility pole at a height of 30 - 40 feet. 11. Sound Output The siren must be electro-mechanical (motor driven) with an output minimum of 110 db (confirmed by third party output testing) @100 feet measured free field horizontally on axis with the siren mounted at 30 - 40 feet in height
