The Oneida County Buildings & Grounds Department is seeking bids for Sidewalk Improvements. In general, this request for bids is for services and equipment involved for the Oneida County Sidewalk Improvements. All work shall be completed by the end of October 2024. The Oneida County Buildings and Grounds Department is extending an invitation to qualified contractors to present proposals for the replacement of sidewalks and driveway panels at the Courthouse and Law Enforcement Center facilities. The objective of the project is to enhance the safety and visual appeal of these public facilities. 1. Oneida County Courthouse: Work at this location includes the removal, preparation, replacement and sealant of concrete sidewalks, driveways, and ADA ramps (See attached map): * ADA Ramps with Truncated Domes: o Quantity: 2 ramps o Size: Approximately 132 square feet each o Total Square Footage: Approximately 264 square feet * Sidewalk Panels: o Quantity: 200 panels o Size: 5' x 5' x 4" o Total Square Footage: Approximately 5000 square feet * Sidewalk Driveway Panels: o Quantity: 20 panels o Size: 5' x 5' x 6" o Total Square Footage: Approximately 500 square feet * Driveway Panels: o Quantity: 5 panels o Size: 6" thickness o Total Square Footage: Approximately 380 square feet 2. Oneida County Law Enforcement Center: Work at this location includes the removal, preparation, replacement and sealant of concrete garage approaches, door apron and a sidewalk addition (See attached photos): * Sidewalk Addition: o Quantity: 1 o Total Square Footage: Approximately 14 square feet * Door Apron: o Quantity: 1 o Total Square Footage: Approximately 56 square feet * Garage Approaches: o Quantity: 3 o Size: Approximately 18 square feet each o Total Square Footage: Approximately 54 square feet *Contractor will be responsible for backfilling and seeding adjacent to any replacement slabs. The Oneida County Facilities Committee will review bids at their next meeting following the bid opening. Oneida County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid it deems most advantageous to the county.
