The White County Department of Finance, on behalf of the White County Government, is soliciting bids for the installation of bullet resistant glass at the White County Justice Center. Project Description The objective of this bid is to secure pricing for the purchase and installation of bullet resistant glass in fourteen (14) storefront windows at the White County Justice Center. The work will be performed at the White County Justice Center located at 111 Depot Street in Sparta. Bidder will be responsible for supplying all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to appropriately complete the project. Existing Windows a) The existing storefront window frames are to be reused. b) There are fourteen (14) windows in total, ten (10) on the East side and four (4) on the West side of the building. Refer to Appendix A for further details. c) Remove glass from existing window frames. d) Old glass must be disposed of properly in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. e) This project does not include the storefront entrance, only the windows. 2. Install New Glass a) New, bullet resistant, glass is to be installed into the existing storefront window frames as per the manufacture's specifications. b) Appropriate caulking should be performed during the installation process. 3. Cleanup Awarded bidder will be responsible for cleanup, removal, and disposal of all debris generated during the installation process. The owner (White County) further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. 1.
