Statement of Interest (SOI) for: PHASE III ENGINEERING SERVICES TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION IL-38 (ROOSEVELT ROAD) & TECHNOLOGY BOULEVARD The City is requesting SOI from qualified engineering firms for Phase III construction engineering services for the installation of the new traffic signal at the intersection of IL-38 (Roosevelt Road) and Technology Boulevard in the City of West Chicago, DuPage County, Illinois. IL-38 is under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Technology Boulevard is under the City's jurisdiction. The project scope includes traffic signal installation, LED lighting, signage, pavement marking improvements, and other miscellaneous items as required to complete the project. The City of West Chicago reserves the right to reject any statements or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the request. The City does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities. It is the responsibility of the individual firms to meet all requirements from the Request of SOI All general and technical questions regarding this Invitation and SOI requirements shall be submitted electronically in writing to Dave Shah at DShah@westchicago.org on or before 12:00 PM on January 26, 2024. A response to all written questions received will be posted on the City's website under the Bid Postings section, no later than 3:30 PM on January 31, 2024 As of October 16, 2025, an award has been made by city council.
