Site work for a civil project in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of constructing: Modifying the aeration tanks to include anaerobic and anoxic selector zones for biological phosphorus removal. The diffusers in the aerated section of the aeration tanks will be replaced including some air piping modifications, the selector zones will be mixed with a big bubble system and each aeration tank will include an internal mixed liquor recycle pump. The project also includes a chemical phosphorus removal backup system, replacing the return activated sludge pumps and related piping and valves, miscellaneous structural platforms and structural repair work at the plant, yard piping, and related architectural, process piping, plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, instrumentation and control work, and site work.
