The City of Arvada (City) is soliciting CM/GC preconstruction services (Phase I) for the construction of a nominal 1.0 million gallon (MG) water storage tank in west Arvada. The City of Arvada (City) is soliciting CM/GC preconstruction services (Phase I) for the construction of a nominal 1.0 million gallon (MG) water storage tank in west Arvada. The Contractor will provide preconstruction phase Construction Management (CM) services and will have the opportunity to be the General Contractor (GC) during the construction phase (Phase II). The construction phase contract is not guaranteed and is dependent on a successful Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) negotiation and approval by the City Council. For Phase II, Contractor must submit a Performance and Payment Bond with Contractor's GMP, on the form attached to these contract documents, in the amount of 100% of the Contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the City for the faithful performance of the Contract. The final scope of work for the Project will evolve based on input and collaboration from various sources including the Owner, Design Consultant, Contractor, Developer, and stakeholders.
